We collect information that you provide directly to us, as well as data generated automatically when you use WordSmith:

User Content & Prompts: Text, inputs, prompts, and content you submit to WordSmith for editing, refining, or generating text.
Transaction & Subscription Data: Purchase history and subscription status. All payment transactions are processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and our subscription provider, RevenueCat. We do not directly store complete financial card details.
Usage & Device Data: Information about your mobile device (IP address, operating system, device ID) and app interaction data to help us troubleshoot and improve performance.
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, maintain, and improve WordSmith's AI-assisted writing and communication tools.
Process subscriptions, renewals, and payments.
Transmit user-submitted prompts to third-party AI processing providers (such as OpenAI API) strictly to generate app features and text outputs.

Ensure application security and prevent fraudulent activity.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate the Application:
OpenAI (AI Processing): Your text prompts and content are transmitted to OpenAI's API to process and generate responses.
RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app subscriptions and verify user entitlements.
Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Used for billing, distribution, and payment processing.
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law.
Depending on your location, you have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your personal information stored with MaddTech. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions directly through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
WordSmith is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
